Fellow MS Painters! It's time to hold another contest for this group again. It's been WAY too long since we had one.
I decided to hold it now since there is a significant lack of activity from our members. Some months ago, this place was quite active, and now I can't even submit a journal here that gets even one comment. >:U
Thus, here's what the contest will be about:
Every single person knows something that causes them to emit strong emotions. It might be a song, situation, person, or anything that triggers an emotional response. This might be something that makes you sad, happy, furious, confused, or any other feeling like these. You must create an MS painting of this person/place/thing/situation and show how/why it causes such strong emotion to you. Let it reflect.
Rules:
Your submission MUST be entirely MS PAINT. I personally recommend MS Paint XP, which you can find here to download: www.mspaintxp.com/ . You may use other MS Paint versions, however. NO paint.net or any other site/program that may be used to imitate MS paint.
If it has mature content, please put a filter if it needs one.
If you borrow an idea/character/etc. in your submission, please give the appropriate credit.
You may not collaborate with someone else. This is supposed to be all your own.
Judging will be based on creativity of the subject matter you use, how clean-cut and neat your art is, and how well it emits the strong emotion.
As founder, I am putting 140 points into the prize pool.
As of this submission, here are the prizes:
***EDIT***

***
1st: 150 points, llama, a month-long feature, a piece of full-colored artwork w/background from ZonZon, and a 1 Full Body Full Colored Picture by KnightandJesterArt.

3rd: 50 points, llama, lineart from ZonZon, and a 1 Full Body Sketch by KnightandJesterArt.
I am willing to MS Paint something for anyone who offers additional prizes.
Contest will end on July 15. Please don't put it off!

MSPAINT ASSOCIATION RULES
Rewritten and revised from Zon’s rules and regulations.
>>>There are requirements for applications to join the group. You must submit an application with a minimum of two or more MS Paint works you made that are currently in your gallery that follow our submission rules.
No text is required, but it is appreciated.
This rule is to prevent the likelihood of submit-and-go members; some members come in, submit all the crap in their gallery, and simply leave once it's all in or if anything (such as a strike or warning) gets in the way of it.
If you don't want to go through the trouble of linking only two pieces of artwork from your galle
Reintroduction to What's Up 2018
Hey all you people! Happy month of April guys! :'D
It has been a pretty busy semester for me so I wasn't able to make a proper intro plus group update.
I'm Mori(venof-unis-jinanx), our group's current overall admin. :')
Our beloved founder is currently doing her best on her degrees thus can't allot the time to manage MSPaintAssoc.
Sooo, to get on with it, I'll discuss here some possible future group's minor tweaks and turns.
Feel free to comment, suggest, critique, or pm me via group note or mine at venof-unis-jinanx.

Important Warning for XP Download
I am no longer recommending http://www.mspaintxp.com/ or their MS Paint XP software, as I just discovered that their download has recently been distributing Trojan Droppers. Luckily my computer isn't harmed from the discovery, as my antivirus software caught it before it could take effect.
The Terms and Conditions of the website also state that there is no guarantee that defects or imperfections to the software will ever be corrected, which means the dropper will most likely not be fixed. :\
This website used to be recommended for its easy-access, no-issue XP version, which I have downloaded multiple times over the years for new computers,

The mascot pixel art for the group page is coming along nicely; I admit that it's a longer wait than I anticipated, however. But I will most likely get it done and posted on the page by the end of this week!
In addition, it seems that MANY of the incoming requests to join the group do not add two links to their sample MS Paintings in their requests; any ideas on how to make this rule clearer? Truth be told, if there are no links we usually just comment asking for some, but it makes the approval progress twice as long. D: It's an inconvenience for both the group admins and the person requesting admission.
Also, side note, here's something th
